Collections
Collections are groups of links, and they are what lets one identifier stay useful as what you are doing changes.

Opening one shows what belongs to it: reports, interviews, video, sources, related pages.
Time windows
A collection can carry a start, an end and a priority. Among the collections open right now, the highest priority leads; a collection with no window is always eligible.
That is what makes this work:

Albums no window, priority 0
M72 Tour Jan–Dec 2025, priority 99
São Paulo this week, priority 10
During São Paulo week, São Paulo leads — even though the tour collection has a far higher priority, because its window has closed. When São Paulo's week ends, the profile returns to Albums without anyone editing anything.
That last part is the point. You set the window once, in advance, and the identifier behaves correctly on the day.
What a window cannot be
A window that ends before it starts is rejected. Such a collection would never be eligible, so it would simply never appear — and you would have nothing to debug. Better an error while you can still fix it.
What this is not
Not a rules engine. Country, device, campaign and referrer are all things resolution could eventually consider, and none of them are considered today. The model is shaped so they can be added as more conditions on the same selection rather than as a different mechanism.
